Intel has announced it is launching new technologies including PC’s and tablets at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016 (CES), held at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, in Nevada, Las Vegas last week

Intel revealed that some of their other products were also recognised at the event, including Intel’s new Compute Stick, powered by the 6th Generation Intel Core M processor or the latest quad-core Intel Atom processor, receiving the Editors’ Choice Award from USA Today's Reviewed.com, as well as Computer Shopper’s Best of CES.

New PCs and tablets powered by Intel won CES Innovation Awards and were recognized by various media outlets, the firm stated.

Olubunmi Ekundare, managing director of Intel Corporation West Africa, recently said that Skylake was Intel's best processor ever. Skylake delivers improved performance in various areas, including lower power usage and better graphics that are 30 times better than the standard, offering smooth gaming and video experiences.

He noted, "these are both critical issues in computer gaming, mobile workstations and other graphics-intensive markets that the new Skylake-based systems will be targeting."
