Wireless IP convergence company MiRO has signed an agreement with US-based Ruckus Wireless to launch Xclaim wireless solutions for small businesses in southern Africa

According to MiRO, Xclaim is easy to install, configure and manage. It offers enterprise-grade Wi-Fi services to organisations that have little or no IT expertise and a small IT budget.

Bertus van Jaarsveld, CEO of MiRO, said, “All market forecasts point to huge growth for open access Wi-Fi products in the coming years. Xclaim is manufactured and supported by Ruckus Wireless, a well-known player in this market segment.

“Consumers expect exceptional performance but at an affordable price. We believe that Xclaim delivers on both of these requirements.”

Jan Keyser, product specialist at MiRO, added that there are many solutions available in the market ranging from consumer Wi-Fi to cloud-based enterprise solutions but small businesses struggle to find solutions that deliver the features they need at a price they can afford.

Xclaim is developed exclusively for small business markets and it will provide added management features to the customers, revealed Keyser.
