Bittium launches a new high-security level version of the Bittium Tough Mobile smartphone at Critical Communications Europe exhibition

Bittium will exhibit its innovative mobile security products and solutions targeted for authorities at the Critical Communications Europe exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark 8-9 February 2017. At the event Bittium said it will launch a new Confidential classification level version of the Bittium Tough Mobile.

The firm's dual-boot functionality for the Confidential classification level will enable the device to be operational with two completely separate operating systems: Public and Confidential.

According to Bittum, the operating system classified as Public is meant for personal communications with access to e.g. social media applications. The operating system classified as Confidential is completely isolated and hardened for secure authority and information security use.

At the event Bittium will have a speaker slot and will take part in a panel discussion:

In the main agenda session: "Are industry players meeting the demands of the end user?" The panel will discuss: Who is responsible for driving innovation, and how much responsibility should end users take on the development of innovation? Bittium’s panelist is Jarno Majava, Director, Sales.

In the Modernising Critical Communications session: "Smartphone in multi-user environment." The presentation will discuss the following issues: one device – multiple users, re-defining the BYOD, and can I have just one device for work and personal use? Bittium’s speaker is Markku Korkiakoski, Director, Cyber Security and Technology Development.
