AMOS operator Spacecom has announced that OFIVE TV, an international TV network operating in Africa, will become part of the French broadcast bouquet on the AMOS-5 communications satellite located at 17°E
SatLink Communications will provide the TV distribution platform on the satellite.
OFIVE TV is headquartered in Paris with broadcasts to more than 60 countries worldwide.
The company CEO Nicolas Oyas said, “French-speaking Africa is clearly in need of our network, especially since we are focusing on the new generation of alternative media.
“This new youth culture is the fastest-growing segment of the media market. With AMOS-5, we plan to reach millions of African viewers and capture the interest of the continent’s young people.”
