Technology solutions provider Comztek Africa and technology major Cisco have signed a distribution agreement to enhance Ciscos presence in Zambia and Zimbabwe
According to the agreement, the two companies are part of a joint strategy to help customers take advantage of a range of Cisco's solutions in both countries.
Stefano Mattiello, general manager for Emerging Africa Cisco, said, “The African market is key to our growth plans and our decision to select Comztek Africa as Cisco’s preferred distributor in Zambia and Zimbabwe was a natural progression of an already very successful relationship with the company in other regions."
The agreement stated that resellers in the regions can access Comztek Africa’s value-added services (VAS), commit to developing reseller staff to help them win business, grow the reseller’s capabilities and extend their reach into new markets through support, innovation and new technologies.
These services also encompass logistics, marketing, pre-sales, technical and engineering support offerings provided to resellers by Comztek Africa, stated reports.
"As per the agreement, we have committed to assist our partners in both Zimbabwe and Zambia by providing skilled account management services, and access to a dedicated and reliable team of Cisco experts, whose focus will be to grow Cisco's business in these regions," Uwe Brandkamp, sales director of Comztek Africa.
Comztek Africa has 30 years of experience selling Cisco as a brand, and has a proven route to market its products and services from vendors through to the resellers.
