V-Nova Ltd, a leading provider of video compression solutions, has announced that it will showcase solutions enabling the TV and media industry to harness the power of its new PERSEUS™ 2 codec at IBC 2017 (stand #11.B30u and on partner stands in halls 1, 2, 4, 5 and 14)
IBC 2017 visitors will see how V-Nova’s award-winning PERSEUS 2 is the only cross-media codec format that delivers on the promises of next-generation image and video compression. Using PERSEUS technology, media and entertainment companies can now monetise unmet consumer demand for higher definition video everywhere, on existing devices and infrastructure, by a simple software upgrade.
V-Nova PERSEUS 2 has proven it addresses the real bottlenecks of IP video delivery, allowing for better viewing experiences across all data networks. Designed to provide enhanced platform support, it has been deployed to enable operators to quickly benefit from the core efficiencies and lower complexity of high-quality encoding.
