Aviat Networks, a leading company in microwave networking solutions, will demonstrate its solutions at AfricaCom conference on stand #B10
The event, which will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre between 15-17 November in Cape Town, South Africa will see the firm showcase three new capabilities.
- IP/MPLS microwave router with adaptive media awareness (AMA)
AMA uses head-end routers to enable real-time routing decisions depending on dynamic bandwidth availability in the microwave network to enhance network performance and reliability throughout.
- AviatCloud Manage Advanced
Manage Advanced offers a private cloud or premises-based application for service management of end-to-end IP/MPLS networks. Available on the market, the first roll out of this application is expected to simplify complexity of IP/MPLS and will be showcased for the first time at AfricaCom.
- AviatCloud Energy Application
This demonstration showcases AviatCloud energy management product, which assesses and controls energy consumption of microwave transport network using an SDN-based control layer to reduce overall energy costs.
Aviat stated on 15 November, chief product officer, Ola Gustaffson, will deliver a speech on the company's vision for migration to SDN in 6G backhaul networks at LTE Africa, which is running alongside AfricaCom.
