Internet service provider iWayAfrica has announced the launch of its Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) services in Zambia

The new fibre optic service aims to offer business and consumers a full turnkey solution to meet their communication needs. This extends from dedicated internet, IP transit, MPLS, VSAT backhaul and redundancy, to numerous value added services such as mail hosting, archiving and data back-up. According to the company, this new service will enable it to power businesses by connecting them to high-speed fibre internet.

With the launch of fibre services, iWayAfrica Zambia, promises faster internet speeds and better connectivity at affordable prices to its customers.

Speaking about the fibre services, iWayAfrica Zambia head of business Ulrich Lassen said that ongoing developments in the telecoms sector has aided in lowering prices and broadening access to infrastructure in the region. This prompted the company to extend its services by launching of fibre connectivity.

“The new fibre service has already been successfully deployed to major corporates seeking to establish dual-links for redundancy purposes,” he added.

iWayAfrica Zambia, which has a strong presence in the VSAT satellite services sector of Zambia, is a part of Gondwana International Networks, a pan-African communications service company.
