SkyVision Global Network is seeking to transform Africa’s television broadcasting industry with the roll out of advanced Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) as well as satellite networks
The launch of SkyVision's broadcast services and engineering solutions to its Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity services and solutions portfolio will support meeting the demand for DTH, IPTV and OTT services in the markets it serves, according to Ori Watermann, SkyVision's CEO.
"Following the vast number of customers requesting broadcast services, we quickly took the steps needed to respond to their requirements by improving on our technical infrastructure as well as boosting our human resource," said Watermann.
Over the years there has been a rising demand for reliable video solutions across many sectors, including from governments and broadcasters looking to cover national and international events such as the Africa Cup of Nations, the World Cup and African U-20 Championship.
"Adding global TV satellite distribution and content management fields to our current portfolio of services and solutions seemed only natural, as we have the proven experience, infrastructure and local presence and support to respond to broadcasters and service providers' needs, wherever they are," added Watermann.
