Telviva, a prominent South African unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) company, has played a pivotal role as a technology partner for Vodacom Lesotho, aiding in the implementation of the Vodacom One Connect business solution within Lesothos Vodacom network 

The service, launched in October 2023, offers a cloud-based business communication tool, enabling seamless work from any location.

Telviva CEO, David Meintjes, remarked, "Telviva provides the platform to Vodacom Lesotho, which provides the service to businesses in Lesotho." He further explained that a year-long technology transfer agreement was signed to support Vodacom Lesotho in deploying advanced technology for businesses and government departments in Lesotho.

Meintjes elaborated on the capabilities of the Telviva unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) tool, stated, "Our Telviva UC&C tool underpins the solution, while we built in a Microsoft Teams layer. This layer can service customers from the cloud both for UC&C functionality as well as bridging this with Microsoft Teams when required."

Vodacom Lesotho CEO, Mohale Ralebitso, highlighted the importance of the One Connect solution in their transition from a telecommunications company to a technology company. Ralebitso stated, "Our goal is to open up Lesotho’s economy to new possibilities through digitisation," emphasising the aim to bring down costs through integrated solutions that enhance efficiency. He noted the synergy with Telviva, citing the ability for synchronous communication that is affordable, accessible, and available.

In conclusion, the partnership between Telviva and Vodacom Lesotho signifies a milestone in bringing advanced cloud-based communication solutions to businesses in Lesotho, aligning with the evolving global norm of flexible work arrangements and digital transformation.
