Motorola RAZR and RAZR MAXX users in South Africa will soon have access to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on their handsets
The Motorola RAZR MAXX has been gaining popularity in the country since its launch a couple of weeks ago.
Motorola Mobility sub-Saharan Africa head of marketing Dorothy Matemba said, “The Motorola RAZR seeks to reach a pinnacle in design and offer unique featues at the same time.”
The scratch-free RAZR MAXX is made of KEVLAR fibre and Corning Gorilla Glass. Every part of the Motorola RAZR MAXX is protected by a splashguard coating, which extends to the electrical boards inside.
RAZR MAXX delivers up to 17.61 hours of talk time and has 1GB RAM combined with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor.
“Delivering an incredible battery life is perfect for South African consumers who want to push their smartphone to the limits and banish the low battery beep to history,” Matemba added.
The phone comes preloaded with the Motorola MotoCast app, giving users the ability to stream or download content from a home or work computer straight to the device.
