BICS last week announced the launch of its new SMS solution for small service providers

The mobile data wholesale carrier said that its EasyConnect SMS product will provide clients with direct access to its network of more than 800 SMS destinations around the world, enabling them to launch international SMS services quickly and at an affordable rate.

BICS said the new solution is targeted at smaller firms, but is suitable for a wide range of service providers, including SMS aggregators, SMS gateways, smaller OTT players, A2P providers and application developers.

“BICS is committed to providing the highest quality international communications services to players of all sizes,” said BICS’ head of mobile messaging Bart Vandekerckhove.

“The EasyConnect platform gives smaller businesses access to BICS’ network of direct routes and complete portfolio of comprehensive SMS services, providing them with a reliable and easy way to terminate their SMS messages worldwide.”

EasyConnect SMS, an extension of the EasyConnect portfolio, also allows operators to manage all aspects of their SMS business through the cloud, including pricing, invoicing and pre-payment balance monitoring.
