Orange and Nashua have signed a partnership that will see the French telecommunications group increase its South African presence
Any Orange customers travelling in South Africa will now be able to replace their SIM card if lost or stolen, activate international services, and receive a variety of other services at some Nashua stores.
The deal, which is set to benefit both local customers and foreign Orange subscribers, forms another part of Orange's expansion plans in South Africa.
"Nashua Mobile has more than 150 retail outlets and more of those stores will roll out the Orange brand over time," said Nashua Mobile CEO, Mark Taylor.
"The company’s focus is on saving its customers time and money, so cutting communication costs when they travel abroad is a key part of that goal.
"The advice and solutions available from Nashua Mobile will give Orange clients landing in South Africa or South Africans heading into Orange territory the best and cheapest possible services."
