yuMobile (Essar Telecom Kenya) has extended its contract with Cerillion Technologies and will continue to support its services and future business plans

The new agreement follows three years of partnership during which Cerillion implemented its CRM Plus, Service Manager and Interconnect Manager systems for the company.

The systems, which have been specifically designed and streamlined for the management of telecoms services, has enabled yuMobile to achieve a low IT OPEX and has proved to be crucial in helping the company deliver within Kenya's highly competitive mobile market.

Cerillion_comEssar Telecom Kenya's country manager Madhur Taneja said, "Cerillion systems have played a crucial role in our successful first three years of business and continuously demonstrate their adaptability to the dynamic nature of our business while always delivering on their commitments."

Cerillion Technologies CEO Louis Hall remarked, "Africa is an extremely dynamic market with a huge opportunity for those prepared to make the commitment and investment.

"yuMobile has made a significant impact in the Kenyan mobile market and we are very pleased to be strengthening our partnership and assisting with their expansion," he added.

YuMobile has achieved the fastest network rollout speed in the region, completing countrywide coverage in approximately 10 months from launch. Currently, its network has a subscriber base of more than 2.5 million users.
