Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with an African e-learning provider to offer e-learning programme for Airtel employees across 17 African countries

The extensive training programme, designed by Learning Resources Management Group, is aimed at preparing the employees for leadership positions within the company.

Airtel Africa chief human resources officer David Ssegawa said, “Our employees are our main source of competitive advantage and we would like to provide them with an opportunity of growth within the organisation through this training. The training will bring in benefits of flexibility and convenience for our employees.

“In addition to the practical benefits, the programme will also build a culture of learning and community among Airtel employees by facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise between peers,” he added.

The comprehensive suite of 500 courses will touch on a range of subjects including accounting, IT, HR, customer service, leadership and management skills, among others.
