Connecting rural communities has become a major issue for the telecommunications industry in Africa
The results of an Industry Survey conducted recently by Informa telecoms & Media illustrate this, with 72 per cent of respondents saying that the improvement of access to and adoption of telecommunications services in rural areas is “very important” to their business.
