Vodafone Ghana has reduced international call rates in an attempt to increase its market reach in the West African country
The company has announced that it will reduce its international call rates and services by as much as 90 per cent for its Ghanaian users.
Vodafone said that by reducing overall costs more users will take advantage of the service and connect outside the country.
A Vodafone statement said, “Customers can subscribe to daily or monthly bundles offering international calls to places such as the US, UK, China and other popular destinations.
“The friends and family package will also allow customers to include one international number at reduced rates.”
The company explained that Ghana's mobile phone market had grown dramatically in recent years and that the country's operators were continuing to devise new promotions to garner larger market shares.
