According to a number of reports from the likes of Trusted review and the Independent, fresh leaks are releasing more information on the 2017 reincarnation of the classic Nokia 3301. It is expected to go on sale later this year and cost around US$59.

It is expected to feature a brand new colour screen, an update on the old-school black and white screen of old. It has also been reported by Chinese site Vtech that the new version of the 3310 shall be lighter and thinner than its classic predecessor. It has been widely reported that the battery life will be at the centre of the Nokia's battery.

Built by Finnish company HMD Global, its buttons are expected to remain in the same position but will be smaller than on the original phone. The original interchangable skin will be available in a variety of different colors.

The official launch date will be announced at the Mobile World Congress which is taking place in Barcelona next week. HMB Global, who own Nokia, is expected to announce, among the the new 3310, four new models.

While not the most important feature for all customers, the new model of 3310 will feature the original game, Snake II.
