Movie and TV streaming service Netflix went live across Africa on 6 January 2016
Movie fans and series addicts across the country have reportedly flocked to the service, keen to have their favourite shows and films at the click of a button.
However, with the vast majority of people having no access to fast fibre connections, many are reliant on mobile internet and relatively slow speeds.

The compression technology can extend data plans by up to 50 per cent for free. The amount of savings users will see will depend on the type of mobile or Wi-Fi network and mobile device they are using.
