Euphoria Telecom home phone service FreshPHONE has introduced a free mobile application which, according to the company, will replace the traditional home phone
The app allows customers to conveniently manage all their home phone calls on their mobile phone, avoiding unnecessary costs and paying only for the calls they make.
Customers benefit from low-cost calling, locally and internationally, on a pure per-second billing system with no connection fees or minimum costs.
Calls to a mobile phone will cost 69 cents and 39 cents for landline, it added.
Euphoria Telecom director John Woollam said, “FreshPHONE is becoming the preferred option for residential users, and it has gained phenomenal traction over the past few months. With no contracts or additional hardware costs, it is an innovative solution that will disrupt the traditional home phone market.”
The app works on any internet service provider’s backbone, if a customer decides to change internet service providers, they do not have to change or find a new telephone service provider.
FreshPHONE is a pure prepaid system that allows customers to easily purchase airtime with a MasterCard or Visa Card.
It provides customers with access to a simple, user-friendly dashboard that displays all information about their telephone system online.
Woollam added, "No need to change landline numbers when moving home, FreshPHONE is a cloud-hosted service that allows customers to take their number anywhere."
“The app is a self-provisioning solution that enables home users to port their existing GEO-graphic home phone number,” he concluded.
