Namibia-based Kudus Technology has designed monetisation applications using Exsets Digital Monetisation System (DMS) for use by public service broadcaster Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC)

DMS enables governments, network operators and broadcasters to roll out digital broadcast services across Namibia, Kudus said.

Kudus worked with a DMS provided by Exset to demonstrate the use of applications, such as games, which can be rolled out by NBC over digital broadcast networks.

“We wish Exset and Kudus the best and feel that this endeavour will bridge the gap between technology, government and monetisation,” said Albertus Aaocchhamub, NBC director general.

“We compiled a questionnaire to get feedback on the DMS Namibian pages at these demonstrations. The result of the questionnaire indicated that the general public is very enthusiastic and eager about DMS Namibia pages."

Two events have already been held in August where Kudus demonstrated its DMS-based systems to the public.

"In addition, businesses couldn’t wait to provide their services on the system as to them it showed a much more effective way to promote their product to those who don’t have internet and newspaper access,” Aaocchhamub added.
