EbonyLifeTV - EbonyLife TVEbonyLife TV has announced a partnership with software company Summview to launch a premium multi-screen video-on-demand (VOD) platform dedicated to content made in Africa

The announcement was made following the 11th edition of DISCOP AFRICA in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire in early June. The service is already available through a mobile app for smartphones as well as an Internet-based online platform. It offers the African diaspora users the ability to access from their smartphones, tablets or laptops, unique content made in Africa.

“We at EbonyLife TV are very excited that our teeming audiences in the diaspora can now catch up on EbonyLife TV on-the-go! With this premium VOD platform, EbonyLife TV expands its range of services and mobile applications and provides the African diaspora subscribers, outside of Africa, an innovative offering of premium quality content.” said Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife TV.

The availability of video on smartphones, tablets and computers relies on the platform developed by Summview. Denis Pagnac, CEO of Summview, said that his company “is pleased to deploy its premium VOD platform for EbonyLife TV. The Summview content delivery solution, a SaaS platform proposed in white label, is designed to meet the specific needs of each client, allowing EbonyLife TV to propose its unique catalogue of African content, efficiently and cost-effectively to a worldwide audience.”

Users can download the application, EbonyLife TV, from the Apple Store and Google Play Store or go to vod.ebonylifetv.com. Subscription options are monthly or annual. As of now, the content is all made in Nigeria.
