Hughes Network Systems exhibited its range of satellite-based tactical communications solutions

 

“Hughes offers advanced communications solutions that can help the military meet its vital mission requirements while reducing operational costs through utilisation of commercially-proven technologies, such as bandwidth optimisation,” said Rick Lober, vice president and general manager of Hughes Defence and Intelligence Systems Division.


Hughes showcased its diverse offerings of tactical communications-on-the-move (COTM), high-bandwidth satellite solutions, including beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) and COTM systems for worldwide deployment. 

 Hughes solutions support the requirements of land-mobile, maritime, and airborne network-centric communications, and hold numerous government security and industry standard certifications for interoperability among coalition forces.
